Macaulay Culkin recently shared a deeply emotional tribute to Catherine O’Hara after news of her death went viral yesterday.<\/p>\n

The comedy icon passed away at the age of 71 and was known for a number of leading roles in Hollywood movies, especially in Home Alone, where she played the part of Culkin’s mother.<\/p>\n

The actor shared how much she meant to him and how her presence was both personally and professionally very important to him.<\/div>\n

Sources shared how she was more than just a co-star to the actress and soon became a cherished figure in his life. In the simple yet powerful Instagram post, he wrote: ‘Mama, I thought we had time…’ and then reflected on how much he wished they both could have shared moments together in the recent past.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

His message showed now just emotions of sorrow at her death, but also a longing of convercations and moments that would never be able to happen again.<\/div>\n

He paired the terms with images of the two of them: one for their time filming Home Alone and another from a major moment from years later, when O’Hara stood by him at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony as he was honored.<\/p>\n
