On <em data-start=\"428\" data-end=\"435\">Oprah<\/em>, she explained that she could hear God\u2019s voice\u2014a quiet, beautiful guidance that inspired her visions. Surprisingly, Akiane\u2019s family was not religious, yet she began speaking about God and His love in vivid detail, despite no outside influence.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"683\" data-end=\"1112\">Her portrait of Jesus emerged from a lifelong vision. Unable to find a model, she prayed with her family for guidance, and a tall carpenter appeared, becoming her muse. Using him, Akiane painted <em data-start=\"878\" data-end=\"895\">Prince of Peace<\/em>, demonstrating remarkable skill for a child. The painting was stolen on its way to an exhibition, later returned in poor condition, and then mistakenly sold to a private collector, disappearing from view for years.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1114\" data-end=\"1309\">Undeterred, Akiane continued creating and sharing her message of peace through art, traveling to over 30 countries, counseling diverse groups, and selling more than 100,000 prints of her works.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1311\" data-end=\"1602\">In 2019, the masterpiece resurfaced, purchased for $850,000 by an anonymous family dedicated to preserving it for generations. Seeing it restored, Akiane wept, calling it \u201camazing to see it in the light again\u2026Love is so powerful.
