A recent YouGov poll reveals Americans\u2019 opinions on her role. Conducted online among 2,255 adults in February 2026, it found Melania with a -16 approval rating\u2014lower than Jill Biden (-9) but slightly above Hillary Clinton (-17). Other First Ladies like Nancy Reagan (+25), Lady Bird Johnson (+23), and Michelle Obama (+21) scored much higher, with Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis topping the list at +56. Melania\u2019s rating was stronger among Republicans than Democrats.<\/p>\n
