Authorities confirmed she was found dead at her Hollywood Hills home on Feb. 23, and her death was ruled a suicide. <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">TMZ<\/span><\/span> first reported the news.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"943\">Katherine was one of three children adopted by Short and his late wife, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Nancy Dolman<\/span><\/span>, who died of ovarian cancer in 2010.
