United States<\/span><\/span> and Israel<\/span><\/span> have launched coordinated strikes on Iran<\/span><\/span>, killing dozens of senior officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei<\/span><\/span>. President Donald Trump<\/span><\/span> told Fox News<\/span><\/span> the campaign was progressing rapidly, claiming \u201c48 leaders are gone in one shot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Iran retaliated with missile and drone attacks on U.S. bases across the Gulf. U.S. Central Command<\/span><\/span> confirmed three American service members were killed and five seriously wounded.<\/p>\n

The strikes have divided Trump\u2019s conservative base. Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson<\/span><\/span> called the action \u201cdisgusting and evil,\u201d saying he urged Trump not to proceed. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/span><\/span> criticized continued foreign wars, while Senator Rand Paul<\/span><\/span> argued military action without congressional approval violates the Constitution. Matt Walsh<\/span><\/span> of The Daily Wire warned against framing the conflict as a mission to \u201cbring freedom\u201d to Iran.<\/p>\n
