He died in May 2020 after expressing his wish to have a child even if he wasn\u2019t alive to raise it.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"418\" data-end=\"626\">Following his death, Obreg\u00f3n began the surrogacy process, saying it was her son\u2019s last wish. In 2023, she announced the birth of her granddaughter, Ana Sandra, conceived using her son\u2019s sperm and a donor egg.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"628\" data-end=\"948\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Obreg\u00f3n has described the child as \u201cwanted from earth and heaven,\u201d stating she will later tell her granddaughter about her father\u2019s bravery and love.
