Love often goes unnoticed until it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n

In a small village lived a poor mother and her son. The mother, Mercy, had only one eye, and her son Rock was ashamed of her. Children at school mocked him, calling his mother a \u201cone-eyed witch,\u201d and the shame made him resent her.<\/p>\n

As he grew older, Rock became more distant. When he was accepted into a university in the city, he left home and told his mother never to visit him because he wanted a new life without the embarrassment of her.<\/p>\n

Years later, Rock became wealthy and successful, with a beautiful family. One day Mercy appeared at his house, simply wanting to see him. But Rock angrily rejected her and forced her to leave.<\/p>\n

Two years later, he returned to his hometown and found his mother had died. In her hand was a letter addressed to him.<\/p>\n

In the letter, she revealed the truth: when Rock was four years old, he lost an eye in an accident. To save his sight, she had given him one of her own eyes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

She wrote that even when he looked at her with shame, she was happy\u2014because through that eye she could still see the world he was living in.<\/p>\n

Reading the letter, Rock collapsed in tears, finally understanding the depth of his mother\u2019s love.<\/p>\n
