Rondale Moore<\/span><\/span>, an NFL wide receiver, was found dead at his home in New Albany, Indiana<\/span><\/span> on Saturday at age 25. Authorities say he died from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound and the case is still under investigation.<\/p>\n

Moore rose to national attention playing college football at Purdue University<\/span><\/span>, where he earned All-American honors during a record-breaking freshman season in 2018.<\/p>\n

He was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft<\/span><\/span> by the Arizona Cardinals<\/span><\/span> and played there from 2021 to 2023. In 2024 he was traded to the Atlanta Falcons<\/span><\/span> but suffered a season-ending injury. He later joined the Minnesota Vikings<\/span><\/span> in 2025, where another injury ended his season during preseason.<\/p>\n

The National Football League<\/span><\/span> and Vikings coach Kevin O\u2019Connell<\/span><\/span> shared condolences, remembering Moore as a humble and dedicated athlete whose career was repeatedly challenged by injuries.<\/p>\n
