Donald Trump exploded on Melania after infamous jacket incident, former secretary claims!

Donald Trump left the White House in January when Joe Biden became President and has been living in Florida with Melania and their son Barron, who just started a new school. While speculation about a 2024 run continues, Trump now faces renewed scrutiny from his time in office.

Former press secretary Stephanie Grisham’s 2021 memoir, I’ll Take Your Questions Now, shares behind-the-scenes details of Trump’s presidency. One notable incident involved Melania wearing a jacket reading “I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?” during a visit to a migrant facility in Texas. Trump reportedly yelled at her, frustrated by the media backlash amid criticism of family separation policies. Melania later explained she wore the jacket for the media, not the children.

Grisham also criticizes Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner for breaching protocol during a visit with Queen Elizabeth and for overstepping their roles. She recalls staff calling Ivanka “the Princess” and Kushner “the Slim Reaper.” Trump dismissed the book, calling it biased and untrue.

Trump and Melania first met in 1998. Though initially uninterested, Melania eventually started a relationship with him, moving in together in 2001. They married in 2005 and had Barron in 2006. Melania was a hands-on parent, while Trump admitted he was largely absent.

According to Stephanie Winston Wolkoff’s book Melania and Me, Melania attributes the success of her marriage to not pressuring Trump, unlike his previous wives Ivana and Marla, respecting his preferences and keeping a traditional First Lady role.
